'Original' Pancake & Waffle Flour

Ingredients:

12 eggs
2ltr water
1 bag (1.7kg) Carbons 'Original' Pancake & Waffle flour
450gr melted butter or butter substitute.

Instructions:

1. Beat the eggs and add the water.
2. Add the pancake and waffle flour and mix well until the batter is smooth.
3. Add the melted butter and mix well.
4. Let to stand for at least 10 minutes, then pour 6oz. of batter (180-200gr) in a waffle iron and bake at 1800c for 3 minutes. makes about 24 waffles.

Complete Pancake & Waffle Flour


Instructions:

Add one bag (2.27kg) of Complete Pancake and Waffle flour
to 3 litres of water and mix well until the batter is smooth.
Add 450ml of melted butter or butter substitute and mix well.
Let to stand for at least 10 minutes, then pour 6 oz. of batter
(180-200gr) in a waffle iron and bake at 1800c for 3 minutes.          Makes about 30 waffles.

 

 

Golden Malted Pancakes


Ingredients:

2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup milk
2 cups Carbons 'Original' Pancake & Waffle flour
2 tbls. melted butter

Instructions:

Beat eggs and liquids together, then add flour and mix well. Add the melted butter and mix well again. batter will keep in Refrigerator for 48 hours.
Makes 12  16 pancakes.

 

 

 

Golden Malted Muffins


Ingredients:

2 = cups Carbons 'Original' Pancake & Waffle flour
= cup sugar
= cup milk
2 eggs
60 gr. melted butter
1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen (optional)

 

Instructions:

Mix batter and fold in blueberries. bake at 1800c for 20-25 minutes. Makes approximately 15 muffins.

You can use any kind of berries or chocolate chips instead of blueberries.

 

 

 

Golden Malted Crepes


Ingredients:

3/4 cup     water
3/4 cup     milk
 4               eggs
 2 cups    Carbon's 'Original' Pancake & Waffle flour
 1/4 cup   melted butter
 

 

Instructions:

Beat the eggs in a bowl and add the water and milk.

Add the pancake & waffle flour and mix well until the
batter is smooth.

Add the melted butter and mix.

Let stand for at least 15 min. before using.
Makes about 10 x 35 cm crepes.

 

 

 

Cinnamon & Raisin Waffle


Ingredients

2 cups water
2 eggs, beaten
3 cups Carbons Golden Malted 'Original' flour
6 tbls. butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 tsp. vanilla

 

Instructions:

Mix water with beaten eggs, add flour and mix well. stir in melted butter and then add remaining ingredients and mix. ladle onto hot waffle iron and remove when golden brown. Makes 7-8 waffles.

 

 

Chocolate Waffles

 

Instructions:

In a cup (200ml) of waffle batter, add a teaspoon of chocolate powder and mix well.
Bake in a waffle machine for 3 minutes at 180-2000c
